An ESPN author recently wrote a piece about an NBA star. The article explained how this player, and his team, lost their first road game in 13 days. The copy editors believed the team finally showed “a chink in the armor.”
Now ESPN is saying the copy editors may be fired for this story. Why?
Because the player is Jeremy Lin, an Asian-American. Apparently the use of the word “chink” was racist. Never mind the fact that “chink in the armor” is a completely appropriate idiom to describe the first road loss in 13 days.
This kind of political-correctness is beyond stupid, it’s dangerous.

What free websites stream NBA basketball games ?

I am an Indian and I want to play in NBA. My height is 6’2″ and weight is 121 pounds (I know it ain’t much) and I want to play as a Small Forward.
I read that first we need to get into a college or high school team but for that I have to write SAT examinations and I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to get into any school or college.
Any suggestions what to do ?

my two birds, Po and Phoenix, have laid an egg! unfortunately, I wasn’t prepared and so I had nothing for them to lay it on, so it broke on the grate. I have no idea which is the boy or girl, and I don’t know is Po is sexually mature since he (i believe) is 2. I got a shoebox, and lined it with paper towel, gave them a vitamin suppliment, and some shreddable toys to build a nest out of (phoenix is taking quite a liking to them.) the box has been cut and folded so there is a small door for them to enter and leave as they please, and they were scared of it for a while. finally, Phoenix manned (or should I say Girl’ed, i hope) up and went inside, promptly followed by Po. they are chewing the entrance hole and shredding the papre towel in the box, sometimes pulling it out. I think Phoenix may be the girl since it spends most of her time in the box, and Po is the boy because he is staying high on the perches. Phoenix is also, (as I’ve said before), shredding the toy and putting them in the box, but then pulling them out. phoenix is also lowering her body and swaying back and forth, which I read is an invitation to mate. she bends her neck, and when I try to scratch her, she tries to bite me, so she’s now going hormonal (i think.) phoenix has also been squatting a lot and lying down, which seems like she’s going to lay again. Po, on the other hand, is acting normal, just walking around and chewing her toys, and SOMETIMES (very rarely) sharing food with phoenix. I can’t get a breeder box because the pet stores don’t carry them, but the shoebox seems to be just fine. any help on the laying/ breeding/ raising of chicks/ mating/ anything you can to to help me with this. I don’t really know what to do, I have no idea which one’s a girl/ boy, and what do I do with the eggs. IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE, PLEASE TELL ME THAT, BECAUSE IF I GET THE WRONG ANSWERS THE CHICKS COULD DIE. how can I help my birds, and how do I know if the eggs that will possibly be laid are fertile

Over the years, Wake Forest has always sucked! Sucked to the point where they have not succeeded. I live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina believe-it-or-not, and I watched them play the Tar Heels last night, and I’ve about had it with all these loses that Wake Forest has had over the years! Their Football program is okay but needs some work. Wake Forest has the money to hire a great Basketball coach but the staff of the University is lazy and will refuse to do so. They have one of the best “Golf” programs in the United States of America but their Basketball program is evil worse than a “Demon Deacon,” the truth is that it is actually “Demon.” Jeff Bdzelik is a “Cheap” coach out of The Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, and he sucks! I am a Wake Forest fan, and I wish Skip Prosser didn’t die. Skip shouldn’t have died. They shouldn’t have even hired Dino Gaudio, even “Dave Odom” was a bad coach back in the 1990s but had a much better team when “Tim Duncan #1 NBA Player right now” for “Those San Antonio Spurs” and Chris Paul was playing under Skip Prosser, but he went Pro with only his second year at Wake Forest. Never have they made it to an NCAA Final Four, never have they won a National Championship in March/April Madness, never have they recruited talented players when they know that they have the money, yet, every time that they even go to a playoffs, within’ the 5th or 6th game(s), they loose every time or get beat and don’t take their game seriously and make it to the next levels. You look at teams like Duke, Carolina or even “Little Butler Bulldogs” a tiny school from Indiana that had no clue that they were going to face-off Duke for the National Championship, even played better than Wake Forest has been playing! What is going on with these sad Deacons? Are they like the Worst team in College hoops? They miss hundreds of hoops as it goes air ball or jumps off the rim, and it they try their hardest but can’t even win hardly ever a game at home! What has been going on with Wake Forest Basketball?
